I get a medical check-up every year now, because I am a sort of volunteer to use a gas mask (like the fire department uses in case of heavy smoke) at my work in case of unforeseen circumstance.
It is a same sort of test that sportsmen have to do. On a home-trainer with all the wires attached to your body for measurement of the heart-beat and the VO2-max.
According the medical advisor, I have a rather good condition.
