I can’t believe it. It’s really been a standard Mercator projection of the earth. Maybe I could have understood if they’d taken a dymaxion map (see http://mappinghacks.com/maps/dymaxion.png). But on the other hand it fits in this totally surreal situation of the world right now.
I think that these kind of under-developped people exist in every community. Even in the Netherlands there are lots of people who go to Spain every summerholiday, but they are not able to point out their vacation-spot on a map.
I think it has to do with education and modern schools.
