NASA recently released this video of the Apollo 8 mission in 1968. It struck me that none of the technicians and scientists who planned the mission, realised that this would be a moment that could not be missed by humans. It was not scheduled !
In fact, this was the moment that humans discovered the Earth…… and made a photo !
