La Roche d’Oëtre

La Roche d’ Oëtre is a very nice area for nice walks.

the start of our vacation
early morning before sunrise
nature in April
stumbling down to the small river “La Rouvre”.
in April the deciduous trees have no leaves yet
the water flows wildly
because it is remote and difficult to access, nature remains virtually intact
trees can grow old here without being “cleared”
a paradise for all that lives (and therefore also photographers)
not suitable for wheelchairs
the area is sometimes called “little Switzerland”

We have used it as a starting point for a camper trip to the Pyrenees …
