    My daughter Jes wanted a fence around her garden, to have some space for herself. So we started making  the most common fence that is used throughout the Netherlands. While doing the job with Jes, I had to think of an old song that my mother used to sing while preparing the evening meal.

    We’ve  inherited an old garden bench from Marjan’s parents. A wrought iron frame with pine slats. The slats have perished long ago and the frame served as “decoration” in our garden.
