Vandaag organiseerde Kipvis een leuke manifestatie van hoop op een openbaar grasveldje in de buurt waar ik woon … ik dacht; laat ik eens gaan kijken en meteen m’n camera meenemen want het is mooi weer … Dit is een deel van het resultaat.

camera repair
One of my cameras is broken. The Canon 70D kept getting an “error 80” message. Fortunately, it is a known and recognized issue at Canon and is currently being fixed at TechRepair. So, for now, I have to make use of my other cameras … I hope repair won’t take too long as I’m already missing the camera body…

De Uitlaat
In the industrial area, east of Vlissingen is the site of motorsports association “De Uitlaat”. During a short bike ride, I happened to see a couple of guys racing actively. The light was beautiful, the track was dry and there was little wind, so I couldn’t resist the temptation to get out of my velomobile and take some pictures.

turtledoves in our garden
Mother turtle-dove decided to make her nest in a wicker basket that is always on our porch. She laid two eggs which both hatched without any problems. So we could enjoy 2 turtle-doves growing up every day and have also gained a lot of respect for the turtle-dove that took excellent care of their young and defended with great courage against crows…
