He is world famous in our province … and by his love for our region, he always ensures there is a freshly washed and ironed flag in his front yard! I’m glad he’s my neighbor. Luctor et Emergo (I struggle and emerge)

I had the intention to write as a photo caption “the children were back home for an evening”, but they are no children anymore …… they are adults who prepare a full evening meal and look at photos from their youth in photo albums…… I am just an old photographer now…….. I do it anyway…

made a “selfie” to serve as a new profile-photo.   very small format, for speedy upload and unsuitable for unwanted jokes 😉

my daughter inherited the love for photography (rea made this photo on their way to the “Lowlands” festival )
