Today I was as good as the only one who walked his dog on the former work island Neeltje Jans.
Fortunately today it was dry once, at least without rain. So I was able to walk my Sandwalk for a while, together with Marjan and the dog.
It was storming, it was raining and it was cold. But the dog had to get out and I thought: Let’s go to the monument and let everything blow in the wind … I think it’s fantastic that apparently it was possible to put an old “slakkenpan” next to the monument. A large part of my “sandwalk” has been declared a prohibited area by “Natuurmonumenten“. The last bit of sympathy for this organization has also disappeared.
