40 years ago I thought we were beyond the racial problem. But I now feel that the current generation makes it bigger again due to lack of proper education and upbringing.

  1. Actually it’s been going on for thousands of years and it’s getting worse over time. It’s not so much about race, imho. its “built into”‘ human beings to want to have the “Power” . It’s an egoistic characteristic built into the human being and needed as a means to survival sort of thing. Actually “Hollanders” throughout the ages have always been very good in this wanting the power thing. the VOC and the East and West Indies and African colonial times come to mind.
Also, most people apparently cannot live on their own/cannot mind their own business. Most appear to be want to belong to something and than love to fight other groups……….e.g. Asians v Americans / Ajax v Feyenoord / Catholics v Protestants / Islam v Christians / Holland v Belgium / Wallonia v Flanders / Scotland v Wales v England / Russia v America / Socialists v Liberals………….etc………..etc.
It’s specifically troublesome in highly populated areas in the developed countries where people have been spoiled since WW-II with ever increasing state interference. Don’t worry be happy, Father State will look after you from the day you are born until the day you die. But as Margaret Thatcher summed it up so nicely: The only problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.
What about me? Well………..Me, I am just an old lone bull and happy where I am with my better half.

    • Thanks for your wise words brother!
The effect of peer pressure is certainly always present and can in my opinion only be transcended through proper information and education.
People can not work without prejudice, but as long as the prejudices are based on scientific arguments and regularly tested and adjusted it is not objectionable.
And most important of all is humor …..
      Lots of love and fun,
      your youngest brother.
