It’s snowing in Vlissingen. There has been sprinkled a lot of salt on the roads. Without those actions it would be impossible for cardrivers to keep driving, but the salt is ruining the bike-stuff, like the chain and the derailleur. Not to mention what salt does to the aluminium wheels.

So I was glad (and a bit proud) that I saw a small car with a mechanical brush in front, that was busy to clean the cycle-paths with it’s brush instead of just sprinkling loads of salt. Unfortunately I couldn’t make a photo, because I was driving in our damn car (brought Marjan to her work)!

I hope that this brushing-car (Mitshubishi L300) is not too heavy for the tiled paths.
