Once I saw a velomobile with a simple home-made windshield. The last few weeks there was lots of stormy winds during my commute. So I decided to make a windshield too.

I bought a screen for a crash helmet with fixed visor (the ones which are used by motorcyclists), and adapted it for use in my velomobile. It is attached with Velcro. I got my saw and made it just as high as needed to not obstruct my view. It is just meant to make a lee side for me, so that my ears have less noise from the wind.
