Can anyone help me to find this parachute ? The Nike-store says they are out of stock 😦 So maybe it’s better to make a few myself ……

It is mentioned in the blog of Coachlevi . I think this parachute is better centered behind my quest then the home-made ones you can see in the next video. These are invented and made by Allert Jacobs.
Because a Quest velomobile uses drumbrakes which are inside the fairring, the cooling is not enough to slow down from 100 km/h to zero when going downhill. Therefore it is better to use parachutes, to prevent higher speeds than 60 km/h. In case of emergency the drumbrakes will be able to handle that amount of heat (I hope).

Quests have been ridden through the Alps according to Quest with no problems with brake fade. There’s a description of the trip on their website. They got very high speeds routinely. The parachutes might reduce time between brake pad changes though, so they’re a good idea–if you’re planning on scaling the Alps.
