I baked some balkenbrij today. It reminded me of days long ago, when I was a little boy.
These days snacks are invented by international restaurants (like McDonalds) , but I think that the ingredients are about the same 😉 As cheap as possible !

I can see your arteries hardening as I look at the photo. I remember these fried treats when I was young too!
