I decided to buy a new camera, because the Powershot G12 has its shortcomings and a few weeks ago I spotted a scratch on the lens. That scratch is causing a large spot that has to be removed with Lightroom.
I also like to use a “normal” reflex-camera like I did many years ago in the analog century. I still have that Canon AE1-program with several lenses, but never used it the last 10 years. I’m experienced with the bridge-cameras as the Powershot A95, A300, G10 and G12 that I used since 2004. They were good cameras and documented my life for many years. Thanks to these digital cameras I was able to start a blog.
Searched the internet, read a lot photoblogs and choose the Canon 70D. Then I found out that all shops are sold out ! Apparently all photographers are buying the 70D and Canon isn’t able to provide all the shops with this model. Must be a sign that I choose the best quality/price camera . 😉
So, just have to wait till Canon has its logistics in order ….
