  • Rabbit

      Our white rabbit died a few days ago. We didn’t see him playing around in his run, so I lifted the box he always sleeps in. This is how I found him. I buried him beneath the hortensia. Rabbit, originally uploaded by wim harwig.

    It was dinnertime, it was snowing  and there  was a terrible traffic congestion in the neighbourhood of Utrecht. So we decided to have a stop at the first restaurant alongside the highway. It turned out to be “Oud-Leusden”. .

    Johan Berend Willem Harwig is my brother. He is  mentally handicapped and living near Ermelo in the Netherlands. I visited him yesterday and made a short video. Just for all the family living all around the world and therefore not able to visit him.

    Rea had her last day at her trainee post. After learning and working for one year, everybody thought she was a colleague instead of a student. She learned a lot at her trainee post, but also changed from a teenager into a grown-up with adult behaviour.

    While I just sit at the table in our kitchen (doing nothing really, just playing with this blog), my daughter is busy cooking a fine dinner for us. At the moment there is very bad weather in the Netherlands; storms up to 110 km/h.

    I found out that I missed a christmas-card. My niece told me on yahoo that she send me a card, but I never saw it. So she send it a second time. What a card ! A lot of work with Photoshop and it was taken in a house that was designed by a nephew of…
