one of the best sons-in-law that I could wish for …
A niece of mine wrote a book … so I’m reading …
an old portrait I made 42 years ago … not correctly exposed, not well focused, poorly scanned … but beauty is in a smile an adventurous young woman
All kinds of portraits in my growing photo-archive.
an impression in photos It’s hard to get some important moments (without flash) inside a typically old Dutch bar… I like to make portraits the most… Some situations need to be edited during post-processing … many photos will be special because some people are rarely photographed… new and oldContinue reading “farewell meeting for Marjan’s pension in a bar …”
Marjan is lucky. Her father was a mate (deck officer) and sailed all over the world. I regret I could not make a better picture of him. “Memories may be beautiful and yet what’s too painful to remember we simply choose to forget. So it’s the laughter we’ll remember when we remember the way we were.” Farewell Hans !
Marjan started to make photos of mushrooms …. She uses my small camera now … a Canon S120 So I’m without that little handy devil from now on … ;-( Like all women, she is amazing creative with her makeup mirror … It’s the only way to see the bottom. She understoodContinue reading “#rednailsandmushrooms”
And a hundred years later you can still see that the photographer did not work neatly in developing and printing this photo. The picture was taken at Zwolle train station, according to the letters ZL on the board.
