The current bridge dates from 1881 …  and is a monument … for google-maps click here

the four main cables consisting of 80 threads I found interesting !

we camped close to the bridge

wide angle lens

136 years old !

keep it simple

all tourists watched the wooden beams, nobody studied the ancient cables …

wrought iron

photogenic

Also the wood is probably about 60 years old

a challenge to preserve this monument without destroying the beautiful character

I did not have a hammer with me…

only my camera and a Jupiler …

our dog did not trust the moving bridge …

More information about this bridge is here.
