I took my old faithful Zephyr out of the shed and sprayed all the cobwebs off.

 

The frame is made of stainless steel, the last one that Danny Siepman had made before he moved out of Colijnsplaat.

Maybe if it’s a little less hot, I’m going to let this Zephyr out on the Vlissingse cycle paths tonight …

When I started riding recumbents I considered getting one of these, but as I did not have any experience building or even maintaing anything but simple Dutch bikes I wasn’t confident I would bring the construction to a good end. This bike invited, requested to be customized and from the looks of it there is definitely no one like yours. Must have been a lot of fun to build and hopefully it’s still fun to ride. Enjoy!
