I’ve seen it, and written to one of the people thanked in the movie.
The moviemakers are as hypocritical and deluded as the sacred chipmunks it goes after in the film.
Bill Mckibben, whatever his low-key faults, is not the villain here. He is not a corporate tool by any means, Solarfest died last year – who cares whether they powered the festival on diesel generators? Did any fool think they didn’t?
The climate denier side loves the movie. Zehner and Gibbs peddle “hope,” for which there is none for our predicament. Zehner works in academia, which is much more at fault for greenwashing than Mckibben or Solarfest. Gib
