scenes in our garden

During the DIY work around the house, I often see unexpectedly beautiful scenes that are suitable for taking a nice picture. Even though I have my camera nearby, I often choose to continue what I was doing … but every now and then I grab my camera and try to capture the scene.
And then a few days later when I read the memory card I see these photos …

Observing everything that happens in nature takes time … a lot of time … If you take enough time you suddenly see birds feeding their young, if you take even more time you see the 4 seasons pass by … and as you age over the years you suddenly realize that you have seen the trees grow …

As Bill Mollison wrote, “Wealth is a deep understanding of the natural world”.

Too bad you have to get so old to get this wealth and then you can’t do much with it … but trying to capture it in photos.
