Woodstock 1969

About 50 years ago I saw this film for the first time. The music and images are stuck in my brain.

In times like the present with COVID-19, climate change, destruction of biodiversity, people fleeing all over the world ………. I occasionally take comfort from the images of what was the protest 50 years ago by the then youth.

Music, lyrics and all kinds of cultural expressions that contributed to a political change at the time, is something I miss nowadays.

Still, I would like to remind ourselves that it is the generation of this hippie culture that has made this terrible mess of it for the past 50 years.

My generation …

Greta Thunberg is right … She and her generation needs more moral support from old grandpas and grandmas who could still live through Woodstock … support extinction rebellion!
