analogue photography has something mysterious in the current digital age …

the realization that I took these photos some 40 years ago makes me feel like an old man …

I think it’s fantastic that there are still photographers who make their photos analog, although I notice that the technique of the darkroom is often no longer used.

It was precisely by developing my films myself and printing with an enlarger, that I developed my own “style”.

it is a pity that that nice hard grain I got with overdeveloped Kodak Tri-X film (exposed as 1600ASA) disappears during the digital copying of the negative.
