  • Frozen tears ….

    …. because our plant has been shut down two months ago, it starts crying. And the other reason is the freezing cold which (for the first time in 40 years) is capable to enter the plant within its heart ….. …. and it breaks ours.

    The plant where I worked for many years, is shut down. The last owner went bankrupt. It is for sale since then….      Some folks are still working in the plant for safety reasons and I am one of them.  What do you do when something is for sale ? You make nice photos…

  • Never travel without duct tape

    Rob had the same experience as I had with the jacket of my bicycle chain lock. But I put a quote of Rob in practice : never travel without Duct tape ! So now the paint on my Bullitt is protected by the Duct tape around the padlock and chain.

    A lot of snow fell yesterday in the evening. That is always a nice hobby-time for velonauts !   So I made a short impression on video of my commute… Unfortunately I had to climb out of my Quest a few times, to lift it over a few snow banks. During one of these exercises…

    …. for our coat-hangers. These are in our family for a long, long time. And they’re still going strong! Just for fun I took a photo, asking myself if there are more people who collect this kind of practical “souvenirs”.

    We organised a reunion for the old guys of my shift.  Due to the bad situation in which our employer is trying to survive, only a few colleagues were present. But the retired all gave “acte de presence”.   Kim; thanks for your great support !

  • It’s lonely in the modern world.

    I just watched some pages of “Unhappy Hipsters” and laughed out loud. This site makes me happy, just because of the humorous text written with each photo.
